Another character has been announced for the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie. This time its Peter Parkers' first love Gwen Stacy. Gwen will be played by Ron Howard's daughter Bryce Dallas Howard, who appeared in The Village and stars as the water-nymph in M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming Lady In The Water.Gwen Stacy was Peter's love before Mary Jane and died at the hands of the original Green Goblin atop the Golden Gate Bridge. So some continuity tampering is going to occur in the story to make this all work. Columbia has yet to spill any tidbits about the story, expect that there will be a love triangle that involves Gwen, Peter and Mary Jane.

I think B. Howard did a great job with "The Village". I am also looking forward to seeing her in MN Shams next flick.
