Transformers....Movie in Disguise!

It looks like some of Hollywoods big-wigs are jumping on board for the new Transformers movie. The toy/comic/cartoon franchise first appeared in the early 80s and has long since been rumored to be making a feature film. The new movie will be directed by action mogul Michael Bay (Armageddon) with Steven Spielberg listed as a Executive Producer. The screenplay for the live-action/heavy CGI film will be handled by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Dreamworks is bankrolling the production and is hoping to cash in with a big summer blockbuster with its release date set for July 4th 2007. As of yet no casting choices have been announced. I think Michael Clarke Duncan would be a great voice for Optimus Prime.
