This new picture of Spidey was just released to the press over the past couple days. At first I thought that this was a black & white picture, but according to sources Spidey wears a black costume in the new movie at some point. This could really support the story if they try to link the Venom character to Spideys black costume in some way. It will be interesting to see how they handle Venom. There are two ways , if they want to stay loyal to the comic, that they could do. The old alien costume way that I cannot see being used, or the bio-suit way that was used in the Ultimate Spider-Man stories. The 2nd seems the most likely.

Aren't you a bit worried that Topher Grace is going to be the villain in tihs one? That's the rumor I've heard thus far...kinda scared...
No matter what it looks like that the spider have gained a few pounds - which is good. He can't be a little boy all his life if he wants to be a super hero.
Nice costume though.
Nan - Maybe the black costume is to help hide the extra pounds?
